Outdoor Art Workshop for Adults
The Outdoor Art Workshop is a hands on sculpture workshop using natural materials.
Participants will be building artworks guided by Craft Works’ Artist-in-Residence, Aaron Treher.
The workshop is also aimed at beautifying the trails at CraftWorks, adding to the theme of conservation and awareness already present at the Cool Spring.
To warm up to this different method of artmaking, the group will begin by first studying some of the masters of environmental art such as Nils Udo, David Nash, and Andy Goldsworthy.
Throughout the second and third day, participants will then create their own outdoor sculptures that can be left behind on the trails of Craft Works.
